Marjorie Davis (Fagan)

Marjorie (Midge) Davis Fagan died November 18, 2018 after a brief illness. Born to Carl Fremont and Margaret Davis on June 6, 1947 in Detroit, she spent her formative years in Rumford and Rangeley Maine. She graduated from Middlebury College in 1969 and went to work as a Social Worker for the State of Vermont. In 1973 she married Harry Fagan. In 1975 they relocated to Hampton, Virginia and in 1981 they moved to Yorktown. Midge's passion in life was the raising and showing of Yorkshire Terriers. She got her first Yorkie while still living in Vermont and spent almost 40 years breeding and showing them. She had numerous breed champions as well as obedience titled dogs. In addition, she had several certified therapy dogs that she enjoyed taking to nursing homes, libraries, and wherever there was a need. She was a member of the 'Merrimac Dog Training Club and the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. She is predeceased by her parents and is survived by husband, her sister Andrea Pitts and husband Warren of Saunderstown, RI, sister Deborah Davis of Davie, FL, sister Cynthia Fowler and husband Gordon of Dumfries, New Brunswick, and her brother John Davis of Walpole, NH.
